Everyone is invited to join with Westdale Churches at the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity Ecumenical Service With Special Guest Pastor Peter Noteboom: General Secretary of The Canadian Council of Churches.
It is Jesus’ profound and persistent prayer that we may all be one (John 17:21-24) and so St. Paul teaches us that we cannot say that we have no need of one another (1 Corinthians 12:21). The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity has roots at least as long ago as 1908 and has been taken up as an enduring global project of the World Council of Churches.
The World Council of Churches (founded in 1948) is now a family of 352 churches, representing over 580 million Christians in 120 countries, striving to respond to Jesus’ prayer and manifest the unity of community, witness and service to which all Christians are called.
Join us as we pray alongside Christians around the world.

Service is at 7:00pm followed by a time of fellowship and refreshments.
