Music at Westdale United

Westdale is known for its varied programme of good sacred music focusing on a broad choral repertoire to support the worshipping congregation. Our choir is a happy group augmented by paid section leads, and led by our talented Music Director Shirley. Frequently included in musical offerings are solos, duets, instruments (including cello, harp & trumpet, guitar and drumming.) We even have our own resident composer who adds to the variety of our music.
New members are always welcome. Rehearsals are Thursdays at 10:30am from Sept. to May. Please contact the Music Director through the church office.
The Organ: Westdale is blessed to have a wonderful 3- manual Casavant pipe organ which enhances the music in worship.
The Piano: A fine Yamaha concert grand piano graces our sanctuary and provides for a mixture of styles in our worship including organ and piano duets.
Here is our Sanctuary Choir, who provide music leadership every Sunday morning. New members are always welcome. Drop us an email.
